Girls and petite sized ladies can jive, dance and party the night away in this collection of ready made shorter skirts.

 

Our fully circular skirts with elasticated waistbands are available in small, medium, large and extra-large to comfortably fit most sizes. We keep a good selection in stock for prompt despatch. However we can easily make to your size specification.

Standard Sizes

Skirt length is measured from the top of waistband to the bottom of the hem. Petticoats tend to sit just below the skirt waistband so a 23" petticoat suits a 25" skirt and a 25" petticoat suits a 27" skirt. No hard and fast rules though, some ladies like their petticoats the same length or longer than their skirts. We quote maximum hip sizes as you need to be able to get into the skirt! Skirt Construction

All skirts have an elastic waistband covered in the same fabric as the skirt. Most hems are finished with a rolled edge to minimise bulk, but some are overlocked and turned under. All seams are professionally neatened and we are so proud of our product that we stitch a Wagtails Dancewear label in every skirt and dress.

Made-to-order

We can make skirts in most sizes subject to fabric availability.
Circular skirts with elastic waists are great for cross-dressers as it is easy to get a good fit. If you don't fit a standard size, just email.
