Size & Fabric Information
Style 917 Shirts are made in 100% cotton twill soft to touch peached fabric. They are a classic casual style of shirt with a relaxed button down collar (no stiffening). There is a chest pocket. It's easier to iron 100% cotton whilst still damp (from the wrong side).

- Fits approx 36" to 38" chest and neck size 14.5" to 15"
- Medium
- Fits approx 38" to 40" chest and neck size 15.5"
- Large
- Fits approx 40" to 42" chest and neck size 16" to 16.5"
- XLarge
- Fits approx 42" to 44" chest and neck size 17" to 17.5"
- 2XLarge
- Fits approx 44" to 46" chest and neck size 18"
- 3XLarge
- Fits approx 46" to 48" chest and neck size 18.5" to 19"
- 4XLarge
- Fits approx 48" to 50" chest and neck size 19.5"
When comparing these shirts to style 175 and 185 it's worth noting that the sleeves on the 917 are set-in far more which makes it narrower across the shoulders. If you're broad shouldered, you might find the 175 and 185 a better fit.
The amount of ease varies and in this shirt style, the larger the size, the greater the ease allowed. For example, a typical Small 917 measures approx 42" across the chest when buttoned up and laid flat, a typical XL measures approx 50" and a typical 4XL measures approx 58".
