Skirt Size Guide

Skirt sizes are a guide to what we believe most folk are comfortable wearing - this is not an absolute as it depends on how tight you like your waistband to be. Our elasticated waistbands will stretch to at least the maximum hip measurement which ensures you can get into the skirt!

Our Standard Sizes
The list below gives the waist, hip and skirt length combinations for our standard sizes in inches and centimetres.

SMALL  Waist 23 - 29  Hips up to 38  Length 23

SMALL  Waist 23 - 39  Hips up to 38  Length 25

MEDIUM Waist 28 - 36  Hips up to 43  Length 25
           (W 71.0 - 91.5cm, H 109cm, L 63.5cm)
MEDIUM Waist 28 - 36  Hips up to 43  Length 27
           (W 71.0 - 91.5cm, H 109cm, L 68.5cm)
LARGE  Waist 33 - 41  Hips up to 49  Length 27
           (W 84.0 - 104cm, H 124cm, L 68.5cm)
XLARGE Waist 37 - 46  Hips up to 53  Length 29

Cotton fabrics may shrink a little during their first wash but some other manufacturers don't tell you this. In general, shrinkage is usually between 1% and 3%. To put this into perspective, with 2% shrinkage a 25 inch long skirt might shrink to around 24.5 inch after the first wash.

100% cotton is best ironed damp. Do not iron elastic waistband.
